About the role

As ScoreApp’s Data Analyst / Analytics Engineer, you’ll be the driving force behind how we understand and leverage data across the business. You’ll own the data layer, diving deep into our backend databases, building integrations between key systems, and transforming raw data into actionable insights for teams across product, marketing, and leadership.

This role blends technical expertise with analytical curiosity. You’ll work hands-on with SQL, Amplitude, GA4, and Stripe data, building dashboards, automating reports, and uncovering trends that shape product strategy and business growth. Key Responsibilities

  • Query and analyze backend databases (e.g. PostgreSQL) to uncover trends, identify opportunities, and provide insights to teams across the business.
  • Build and maintain dashboards and reports in tools like Looker Studio, Metabase, or similar platforms for tracking KPIs and performance metrics.
  • Integrate and maintain data flows between systems such as Amplitude, Google Analytics (GA4), Stripe, HubSpot, and internal product data.
  • Create automated reporting pipelines and processes that ensure reliable, up-to-date insights.
  • Partner with marketing, product, and leadership teams to define metrics and deliver data-driven recommendations.
  • Perform ad-hoc analyses to answer business-critical questions, supporting experimentation, growth, and decision-making.
  • Maintain data quality, governance, and documentation across all analytics tools and sources.
  • Continuously refine data models and structures to support future scalability and clarity.
  • Build a single source of truth for ScoreApp’s key business metrics.
  • Improve visibility of product, customer, and marketing data through intuitive dashboards.
  • Enable faster, data-informed decisions by automating manual reporting processes.
  • Deliver insights that directly impact user engagement, retention, and revenue growth.
  • Strengthen cross-team collaboration through clear, accessible, and trustworthy data.

Key Skills and Experience

  • Proven experience as a Data Analyst, Analytics Engineer, or similar in a SaaS or digital business.
  • Strong proficiency in SQL and experience querying complex datasets.
  • Hands-on experience with Amplitude, GA4, and Stripe analytics (or equivalent data tools).
  • Skilled in data visualization and dashboard creation using Looker Studio, Metabase, Power BI, or Tableau.
  • Familiarity with ETL pipelines and data transformation tools such as dbt or Python scripts.
  • Understanding of key SaaS and marketing metrics (LTV, churn, conversion rate, retention, ROAS, etc.).
  • Strong problem-solving ability with a detail-oriented, analytical mindset.
  • Excellent communication skills — able to translate data findings into clear, actionable insights for non-technical teams.

Bonus Skills

  • Knowledge of statistical analysis or A/B testing frameworks for experimentation insight
  • Familiarity with data warehousing solutions (e.g. BigQuery, Redshift, Snowflake).
  • Experience integrating data from APIs (e.g. GA, Stripe, HubSpot) for custom reporting pipelines.
