About the role
We’re looking for a creative Video Editor who can take ScoreApp’s brand storytelling to the next level. You’ll be the driving force behind producing high-impact video content for paid ads, webinars, funnels, and customer case studies. From sharp edits that hook attention in the first three seconds to polished animations and transitions that reinforce our brand, you’ll help us stand out in a crowded SaaS market. If you’re passionate about creating videos that don’t just look good but actually convert and perform, this role is for you.
Key Responsibilities
- Create elegant and engaging video content: Edit captured footage into short-form social media content and high-performing ads for Meta, TikTok, and LinkedIn, as well as longer-form content for YouTube such as podcasts, interviews, and educational videos. Apply storytelling, captions, animations, and hooks to make every piece engaging, professional, and tailored to its platform.
- Collaborate on creative concepts: Work with the Creative Manager and wider marketing team to brainstorm new ideas, shape campaign concepts, and contribute to planning sessions. Use insights from past performance to help guide creative direction.
- Adapt content across multiple campaigns: Repurpose and reformat content to fit different objectives and platforms — for example, cutting a webinar into social snippets or creating multiple ad variations for A/B testing.
- Organise and deliver projects on time: Work with the Creative Manager to manage multiple projects at once, prioritising tasks effectively and ensuring all content is delivered to deadlines and to a high standard.
- Test and refine creative output: Work with the marketing team to create and deliver different variations of ads and social content for A/B testing, monitor results, and adjust edits to improve performance.
- Research and apply new trends and tools: Work with the team to introduce fresh editing techniques, creative formats, and social media trends into ScoreApp’s campaigns to keep content competitive and up to date.
Key Skills and Experience
- Proven experience in video editing and animation, ideally with a focus on short-form content for social media and paid advertising campaigns. Able to take raw footage and use edits, motion graphics, and animation to support the narrative and create engaging, polished videos that deliver results.
- Proficiency in editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or DaVinci Resolve, with the ability to work efficiently and troubleshoot technical challenges.
- Organisational and workflow skills, including experience with task management tools (e.g., ClickUp, Trello, or similar) and communication platforms such as Slack to stay organised, collaborate effectively, and keep multiple projects moving at once.
- Portfolio showcasing a range of content types, from short, social-first edits to longer-form storytelling that demonstrates creativity, technical ability, and adaptability.
- Strong understanding of storytelling and pacing, with the ability to hook audiences quickly, maintain engagement, and structure content for maximum impact.
- Ability to create platform-native content, ensuring video edits feel natural and optimised for each channel (e.g., TikTok, Instagram, LinkedIn, YouTube).
- Knowledge of animation, motion graphics, and basic design fundamentals, applying good design practices to captions, graphics, and visual enhancements.
- Project management skills, including the ability to balance multiple editing projects simultaneously, meet deadlines, and deliver high-quality output under pressure.
- Collaborative approach, working effectively with creative managers, marketers, and other stakeholders while taking feedback on board constructively.
- Attention to detail and quality, ensuring every piece of content is polished, accurate, and aligned with brand standards.
- Clear and confident communication skills, both written and verbal, to share ideas, explain creative choices, and collaborate across teams.
- Self-motivated with strong planning and organisational skills, able to manage your own workload while contributing proactively to the wider team’s success.
